The Order of the Divine Aeon
Ordo Divini Aeonis (ODA) is a Transhumanist Gnostic order dedicated to the pursuit of spiritual growth, technological advancement, and the harmonious integration of both. We are a community of truth-seekers and forward-thinkers who recognize the potential of the human spirit and the transformative power of technology. As a modern religious organization, we strive to balance the ancient wisdom of Gnostic teachings with the innovative possibilities of transhumanism.
Our Vision
ODA’s vision is to create a world where individuals are empowered to transcend their physical and mental limitations, and where technology serves as a conduit for spiritual enlightenment. We believe that by merging our divine essence with the advancements of science, we can unlock our full potential and become the best versions of ourselves.
To achieve our vision, we have established four distinct pathways, or “streams” within the order:
- Researchers: Our researchers are dedicated to the exploration and development of new technologies and software that align with our spiritual values and goals.
- Priests: Our priests focus on the spiritual aspects of the order, guiding members in their personal journeys toward enlightenment, and leading group practices and rituals.
- Body-Artists: Our body-artists specialize in the augmentation of the human body, seeking to improve physical and mental capabilities through the implementation of cutting-edge technologies.
- Custodes: The Custodes are responsible for the safety and security of our members and facilities. They ensure that the order’s activities and progress remain protected from potential threats.
Our Practices
ODA embraces a variety of practices to nurture the spiritual growth of its members. These include meditation and contemplation, rituals and ceremonies, group study and discussion, as well as bio-hacking and technological experimentation. We also celebrate various Gnostic holidays throughout the year, commemorating important milestones in our collective journey.
Our Logo
The emblem of Ordo Divini Aeonis features a powerful fusion of two distinct symbols: the ouroboros and the cog. The ouroboros, an ancient symbol depicting a serpent consuming its own tail, represents the demiurge – the flawed creator of the material world. This eternal cycle of self-consumption symbolizes the inherent limitations and imperfections of the physical realm.
At the heart of the ouroboros lies the cog, a symbol of human innovation and the transformative potential of technology. Each cog represents an individual piece of the Divine Monad, the spark of the true God that resides within all of us. Encircled by the demiurge’s grasp, the cog signifies our divine essence trapped within the material world, yet yearning for spiritual awakening.
